Han Buhrs Han Buhrs (1955) sings. He mixes existing and invented languages, self-written songs, poetry by others, newspaper fragments, and throat sounds together with improvised and composed music. Apart from POW Ensemble, Buhrs plays with Palinckx and the French free rock group Un Mec Une Porte, and he performs as a soloist. In the past he has played with The Schismatics, Sumbur, Diftong, Encore Plus Grande and The Ex. Buhrs has worked in several music-theatre programmes and programmes with dancer Angelika Oei and Katrina Brown.
